About Me
Hi, I’m Greg Roth. This is the place where I write random articles and essays about the joys, quirks, and chaos of life in the Chicago suburbs. My goal isn’t to offer polished life lessons or Instagram-worthy advice. It’s to share the messy, funny, sometimes frustrating, but always real moments that come with raising kids, fixing up houses, wrangling neighbors, and juggling work and family in the suburbs.
This blog is my outlet for capturing those stories, reflecting on them, and hopefully connecting with others who see themselves in the same daily circus. There's always something worth writing about between kids’ activities, coaching sports, keeping up with jobs, and searching for a good place to eat.
Whether it’s a Lego stuck in a kid’s nose, the politics of the neighborhood HOA, or the endless battle against weeds in the yard, I try to find humor and perspective in the little things.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find something here that makes you laugh, nod along, or feel a little less alone in the suburban shuffle.
